This report highlights the environmental hazards and costs associated with plastics, discusses Africa’s prohibition of certain plastics, details the nature of these bans, explores the challenges in enforcing these prohibitions, examines Africa’s sachet-based economy, and proposes potential solutions to the continent’s plastic issue
