Founder Institute Abuja in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has launched the NCDMB Energy Accelerator 2023 for Early-Stage Energy Startups to support select local companies that have huge potential for growth and massive job creation.
This fully-funded NCDMB Energy Accelerator 2023 program also aims at driving the ‘Energy Transition‘ agenda of the Nigerian Government, and building an efficient number of promising energy startups in 2023 in areas such as Renewable Energy, AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics, Local Materials substitutions (focused on the value chain of the Energy Sector), Health, Safety and Environmental Studies, Geological and Geophysical, Engineering studies, Technology Development (Pipeline Monitoring System) & Mobility Systems – providing access to funds/venture capital for these innovative companies in Nigeria.
This initiative will be operated through the Technology Innovation and Incubation Center (TIIC) an arm of NCDMB with a core mandate to “help develop high potential Nigerian startups and ideas into investment and market-ready products – supporting these startups to scale locally and globally through accelerated business incubation programs and initiatives”.
