In September 2021, a landmark global study on climate anxiety shows how young people feel about climate change. About 65% of the youths surveyed reported that they feel deep anxiety about their future and the planet.
While these emotions could render anyone helpless, many youths around the globe are taking charge and channeling their worry and fear into action, putting pressure on world leaders. These young people think innovatively and have come up with groundbreaking solutions that give humanity a fighting chance against climate change.
In a bid to recognize their remarkable efforts, the Children’s Climate Foundation is pleased to open nominations for its 2022 Children’s Climate Prize.
