Apply! Ecologists in Africa grant program (up to £10,000)

Africa is a continent teeming with natural resources ranging from arable land, water, oil, natural gas, minerals, forests, and wildlife.

Although it holds a huge proportion of the world’s natural resources, more can be done to ensure that these resources are used sustainably with positive impacts on Africa’s ecological and environmental future.

In light of this, the British Ecological Society has opened applications to its Ecologists in Africa grant program.

If you’re an ecologist passionate about investigating environmental pressures and impacts on Africa’s ecosystems and biodiversity, you may apply for the grant.

The Ecologists in Africa grant provides support for ecologists within Africa, enabling them to carry out innovative ecological research.

Having recognized that ecologists in Africa face unique challenges in carrying out research, the British Ecological Society designed the grant with the aim of helping them to develop needed skills, experience, and knowledge base as well as making connections with ecologists internationally.
