The climate crisis is a global challenge that requires every sector to pitch it their contributions in the fight against climate change and/or reevaluate their mode of operation to fit into the sustainability agenda.
To this effect, tech startups across the globe are invited to apply for the Startup Wise Guys Accelerator which aims to empower them in shaping a sustainable world beyond the climate crisis.
Interested startups may be from various verticals- climatetech, agtech, biotech, edtech, fintech, retail services, consumertech, healthtech, wastetech, etc. – as long their solutions can help to tackle climate change.
What’s the program about?
The Startup Wise Guys Accelerator is a Copenhagen-based hybrid program that offers both online and offline modules. Throughout the program, you will be exposed to five main areas in which you can build and grow your startup. Areas such as:
- Company building
- Sales and marketing
- Fundraising and Pitching
- Product building and
- Impact Business modeling
The 22-week long accelerator program is scheduled to run from January 17 to June 2022. Being a hybrid and flexible onsite-online program, participants will spend 7-8 weeks onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark; and 14-15 weeks online.
If you qualify, you will be taken through intensive collaboration with almost 100 mentors at workshops, one-on-one sessions, and sprint weeks, as well as through a dedicated implementation time throughout the program.

- Receive up to €80K investment for up to 9% equity (50K cash + 30K program) with a follow-on possibility

Who can apply?
There is no geographical restriction on who can participate. However, the 6 weeks, on-site part of the program to be held in Copenhagen will require your physical presence.
After the on-site part, you’re free to work virtually from your home country with your team. Note that the program will be run in the Central European Time (CET).
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for the full-time acceleration program you need to have:
- At least a working MVP;
- At least 2 co-founders/team members;
- Initial customer traction, ideally MRR or revenues, LOIs (Letter of Intent), and Pilots;
- Be willing to commit throughout the duration of the event;
- Be ready to adapt your schedule to fit in the CET time zone should you be located in different time zones.
