The use of fossil fuels in the transportation, energy, industrial production and other sectors are largely responsible for carbon emissions. Fossil fuels, encompassing oil, gas, and coal, constitute the predominant contributors to global climate change, responsible for over 75% of greenhouse gas emissions globally, with carbon dioxide alone accounting for nearly 90%.
This report aims to analyze the carbon emissions by Fuel type in Nigeria and the means of curbing emissions emanating from the usage of these fossil fuels in various sectors.
